One Piece dethroned from Netflix No 1 spot after just one week

The TV iteration of the popular Japanese manga series lept to the No 1 spot on Netflix's most popular series following its release on 31 August. According to the official site for Netflix Germany, the budget for each episode of the series was an eye-watering $17m (£13.4m). As of 7 September, One Piece has already lost its top spot in the Netflix US rankings to Shane Gills' 52-minute, Beautiful Dogs comedy special. In the UK, too, One Piece is second to Who Is Erin Carter? - the streamer's new thriller series about a British substitute teacher (played by Evin Ahmad) who gets caught up in a violent robbery while living in Barcelona. One Piece got off to a great start, ranking No 1 in 84 different countries around the world on its first weekend, surpassing a milestone set by Netflix's Addams Family adaptation Wednesday and season four of the sci-fi series Stranger Things. Both shows ranked No 1 in 83 territories over their first weekends of release. The live-action series stars IƱaki Godoy as Monkey D Luffy, a character who goes on an expedition to locate lost treasure alongside a pirate crew that includes Roronoa Zoro (played by Mackenyu), Nami (played by Emily Rudd), Usopp (played by Jacob Romero) and Sanji (played by Taz Skylar). Fans of the series have hailed One Piece for breaking the "curse" of live-action anime adaptations. Netflix has previously adapted more than a dozen popular anime properties, including Cowboy Bebop and Deathnote, although most have been poorly received by fans and critics. Eiichiro Oda created the original manga upon which both the One Piece anime and the new Netflix series were based. Ahead of the release of the new show, which was developed by Matt Owens and Steven Maeda, Oda predicted that fans would potentially push back against the new live-action version. In an open letter earlier this year, he wrote: "It's absurd that the idea of adapting One Piece to a live action was conceived seven years ago! How was it possible to transpose such a world into reality? "It took a lot of work... the efforts of the actors, the reconstruction of buildings and costumes, realising the situations so that they could only work in live action, the dialogues... and the commitment of so many people who worked together was already in itself something beautiful." Osho Quotes on Meditation

Osho Quotes on Meditation If tea-drinking can become a meditation, then anything can become a meditation — cooking or washing your clothes, any activity can be transformed into meditation. And the real sannyasin, the real seeker, will transform all his acts into meditation. Only then, when meditation spreads over all your life, not only when you are awake in the day — slowly slowly it starts penetrating and permeating your being in sleep too — when it becomes just part of you, like breathing, like your heartbeat, then, only, have you attained to the discipline, to the essential discipline of Zen. Meditation means: drop all thoughts, drop all ideologies, drop all knowledge. Drop the mind itself. The mind is constantly talking. If the inner talk can drop even for a single moment you will be able to have a glimpse of no-mind. That’s what meditation is all about. The state of no-mind is the right state. It is your state. Millions of people miss meditation because meditation has taken on...

But one savvy mum has shared just the hack to help speed up the process in the mornings. The mum, who goes by the name of Azure MacCannell on TikTok, has revealed a super time saving trick. She preps all of the sandwiches for the week, and freezes them. Azure has two lines of separate pieces of bread next to each other, On one line she spreads peanut butter, and on the other line she spreads jam. Azure then places the bread on top of each other to make a sandwich, before using a crust cutter to make the sandwiches into smaller squares. She then puts them into a big container and freezes them and use them "as needed." Azure also freezes the crust for "delicious French toast sticks." OSHO on Ramakrishna

Sri Ramakrishna Enlightenment Osho : There is an episode in Ramakrishna’s life.... For his whole life he had been worshipping Mother Kali, But at the very end he began to feel,”It is duality; the experience of oneness has still not happened. It is lovely, delightful, but two still remains two.” Someone loves a woman, someone loves money, someone politics; he loved Ma Kali – but love still was divided in two. Still the ultimate nonduality hadn’t happened and he was in anguish. He began looking out for a nondualist, a Vedantist – for Some person to come who could show him the path. A Paramahansa named Totapuri was passing. Ramakrishna invited him to stop with him and asked, ”Help me to have darshan of the one.” Totapuri said, ”What’s difficult in that? You believe there are two, so there are two. Drop the belief!” Ramakrishna replied, ”But dropping this belief is very difficult – I have lived with it my whole life. When I close my eyes the image of Kali is standing there. I drown ...
