Happy birthday my love Girlfriends sweet tribute as Sam Kerr turns 30



Sharing a shot of the pair cuddling up at a rooftop restaurant on Instagram, she captioned her post, "Happy birthday my love," adding a red love heart emoji.

Underneath the post, Kerr commented three red love heart emojis.

Mewis' sister Sam Mewis commented underneath: 'That's nice!'

Matildas star Caitlin Foord also shared a birthday message for Kerr, sharing a collage of pictures of the pair together and captioning it: "Happy 30th Sam Kerr!"

Their Matildas teammate Emily van Egmond added, "Happy 30th Samantha Kerr."

The girls included pictures of Kerr over the years.

A week ago, Kerr revealed she was in the US and enjoyed some pre-birthday celebrations with Mewis.

Kerr, who just weeks ago thrilled fans with her efforts in the World Cup, enjoyed some well-deserved downtime by partying on a boat, tucking into some cupcakes and cosying up to her girlfriend.

Kerr shared a series of images on Instagram, captioning her post: ''Pre birthday cele [sic].

Kerr was also gifted some cupcakes that read: "Happy 30th Sam."

The pair first sparked dating rumours after the Aussie Matildas were defeated by Team USA at the Olympics in Tokyo in 2021.

A sweet shot of Mewis, 32, embracing Kerr, 29, on the field sparked rumours of a romance between the country-crossed lovers.

These rumours were eventually confirmed by the athletes, and two years on, the duo appear to still be going strong - even long distance.
