Evaluation report on Rashtriya Bal Swasthya Karyakram released



Shopian, Sept 14: The District Development Commissioner (DDC) Shopian, Faz Lul Haseeb, who is also Chairperson District Level Technical Advisory Committee (DLTAC) today, released Evaluation Report on 'Rashtriya Bal Swasthya Karyakram' (RBSK) of health sector at mini secretariat Shopian.

Speaking on the occasion, DDC stated that RBSK is an ambitious centrally sponsored scheme and is under implementation in all three medical blocks of District Shopian.

He said that the main objective of the scheme is to improve the overall quality of life of Children through early detection of Birth Defects, Disabilities and adolescent health concerns and simultaneously to provide free medical treatment to all the children between the age of 0-18 years, identified after screening.

While highlighting the main observations and field findings, DSEO informed that a total number of 918 beneficiaries have been covered by the concerned department during 2019-20, 2020-21 and 2021-22.

On this occasion, Joint Director Planning, Khursheed Ahmad Khatana, District Statistics and Evaluation Officer Shopian, Nowshad Ahmad Rather and other officers and officials of District Statistics and Evaluation Office Shopian were present.
