I want to chime in and say that it is absolutely essential that good SA advisors post and can audited numbers using standard financial math across the board (so no self serving math) to allow SA users to determine the efficacy of advice. Upon doing this there will be a dispersion of results which will allow SA users to better select advisors. Over time more people will shift to SA as they will be able to determine with confidence returns. Mutual funds, ETFs and financial sponsors do this all the time and I certainly hope SA will push advisors to do this - otherwise its a lot of opinions with no back up. Be firm, be right and we will all do better in the long run.
